Symbolized as the armor, the shield, the wielding sword and ax, Geng cuts through the bullshit, always sharpening its refinement, already ready for the next bigger challenge. In order to exist, Geng needs a problem to solve and the intense pressure required in the creation of steel. If it doesn’t have a challenge in life, it will create the challenge for itself, a harsh environment in which it can persevere and emerge stronger and more resilient on the other side.
The quick precise movement of a gifted sword wielder is something that requires mental and physical preparation, an ability to store energy that is primed to explode into decisive action.
Geng resides in our lungs, the holder of grief, and the organ that governs our ability to breathe and eliminate. Here we use our keen eye to differentiate what we need from what we don’t. It is the power of smoothness, sharpness, cleanliness and order. Within it lies the values of integrity and pride which emanates an aura of exclusivity, purpose, and palpable intent.
Both intention and will are focused and clarified. It takes all of the will of Water, the ingenuity of Wood, the spirit of Fire, and the unconditional support of Earth to have the power of honesty in Metal.
Geng asks: What changes do you need in your life to uphold more integrity? What goals can you set for yourself to rise to your highest potential?
Be like the sword: sharp, honest, discerning, integrous, impactful. You are what you see. You will do what you are tasked to do. Nothing more and nothing less.
